Interpreting Kubo's aims, I am left wondering whether he can choose a block in turn k without integer k (such that Ruprecht in turn needs to prevent this from being possible), or whether he cannot because it is against the rules, and in that case instead aims to make choices such that in a later turn he is left unable to choose a block with integer k on turn k, triggering the termination condition that he aims for.
